Is the desire to be happy and make others happy. Is freedom. Is respect and admiration for the body and the uniqueness of the feminine figure. Is the consciousness that elegance is not a dictatorship nor is absolute, it’s accessible to everyone because it’s a synonym of wellbeing; it just takes self-knowledge and to know how to use the right “tools”. 

Clothing can be "the right tool", the liberating agent. Every woman should feel comfortable with her figure, respect it, interpret it and be able to reinvent it. Tailoring is the passion for the art form of constructing clothing. It’s not male, it embraces both sexes. To be free, a woman doesn’t have to dress as "a man" or mimic any stereotype; she can create her own visual language, and be timelessly elegant.

Inspiration


The centenary of the proclamation of Republic in Portugal, with military nuances in a fantasy of nationalistic fever, almost tribal dispute between different regimes and ideals. Tailoring as the art of clothing construction inspired by great masters such as Charles Frederic Worth, Cristobal Balenciaga, Christian Dior, etc… The importance of designers such as Madeleine Vionnet and Coco Chanel, in the innovation and aesthetic liberation of the body, contributing to the freedom of choice regarding the female silhouette in society. The liberation movements and the affirmation of women in society through 7 Portuguese women who have played an important role in the development and modernization of Portugal and Europe between the 14th and 19th centuries, and that encouraged cultural exchange between the East and West.
